WHAT IS IT:

WATERMED (Bacteriostatic Water for Injections) is a sterile solution designed for use only with drugs that require dilution or reconstitution in an aqueous vehicle prior to injection. WATERMED (Bacteriostatic Water for Injections) is a highly purified, sterilized water containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol used to dilute or reconstitute drugs to the proper consistency for injection. Bacteriostatic water (BW) has a pH of approximately 5.7.  

HOW TO USE:

This compound is indicated only for diluting or dissolving drugs for intravenous, intramuscular or subcutaneous injection, as instructed by the manufacturer of the drug to be administered.

SPECIAL STORAGE PRECAUTIONS:

Store below 30°C.  Protect from light.  Don’t freeze.
